Following our highly successful event in Dundee last year, Jisc is again working with European colleagues EUNIS and SURF to organise the next EUNIS e-Learning Task Force workshop on Friday 15th April, at the University of Amsterdam.

The workshop will explore how universities are addressing aspects of the new European Commission framework (A European Framework for Digitally-Competent Educational Organisations) in particular Assessment practices.

We will look at the digital infrastructure needed for learning and assessment in a digital age. We will share some implementation case studies and hear from some national initiatives that have produced resources that are freely available for others to use. There will be an opportunity to talk about current developments with system suppliers and to share experience in discussion groups.

The day will cover:

  • How we might use the new EU framework
  • Online exams/online proctoring) in the European context
  • New developments in Adaptive Comparative Judgement (ACJ)
  • Case studies in digital assessment
  • A tour of Amsterdam University’s Classroom of the Future

The day will be highly interactive and will offer something of interest whether your role is academic, administrative or related to supporting IT systems. As a participant you will have the opportunity to:

  • Find out about new developments across Europe
  • Share practice and ideas with other universities and suppliers
  • Take away tools and techniques that can be used in your own context

The workshop is free to attend and places are limited. Priority will be given to people whose organisations are EUNIS members but we do have some sponsored places available for non members.

To reserve your place fill in the online booking form as soon as possible.
